On July 14th, Pierre and Annie said their “I do’s” at a private residence in Barnstable Village. The adorable couple met in France, where the groom is originally from.  It was quite fitting to have their wedding on Bastille Day- France’s Independence Day!

They were married in a church and after the ceremony everyone paraded down the road to the bride’s cape house, where the reception was held. Carrying a giant red balloon, symbolic of the French story, Le Ballon Rouge, the couple was absolutely adorable and picturesque.

Following a cocktail hour complete with a raw bar and the Cape Cod Surftones Barber Shop Quartet, the partygoers walked down the lawn to the tent where the couple shared their first dance. Kicking off her shoes, Annie waltzed, jived and twirled with her new husband!

Dinner was a choice of three stations:

“Cape Cod Farmstand”

Petit Entrees

Create Your Own Chowder Station

The crowd loved all three, but was especially content with the chowder served in individual mugs.
The flowers by All About Flowers for Weddings were positively divine!

The tent (provided by American Tent) was absolutely beautiful at night. The hanging lanterns made the atmosphere glow! After dancing and celebrating the bride’s mother surprised the crowd with a celebratory display of fireworks! What a treat!

Annie and Pierre opted for a strawberry shortcake with layers of red velvet and white cake but no frosting!

This wedding was one to remember! Congratulations Annie and Pierre!
